Problems with flipVideo who do I get held from? September 10, 2010

My flipvideo is great but when I connected it to my TV via the usb port it formatted my flipvideo. HELP! Now it doesn't work. How do I fix it or who can I send it back to?

Excellent product with good resolution and most importantly very very easy to use and download to computer.
Would certainly recommend to anyone who requires an easy no frills video with HD capabilities.
Only down side is the rechargeable battery life - but this can easily be overcome by carrying a few spare AA batteries just in case......

Like this Flip as I do, I can only give it 3 stars. Mine died suddenly last week after very little use upon just over a month since buying, just when I needed it most during my trip to Italy. I mean, when it works, it's a great little gem that you can just put in your bag/pocket while going out, and it gives very decent quality images especially recording in good weather...
Must say though, Amazon customer service's excellent. They replaced my Flip after just two days. Fingers crossed that nothing will happen to this new one.
PS. The mains charger doesn't seem to work with both my old and this new Flip. However, charging by USB only takes 2 hours at most, wonder why it takes so long as up to 6 hours for some people here?

i like the flip ultra hd but if your thinking of taking it on holiday a few things you need to know, because the flip
doesn't come with a wall charger.
the flip's supplied battery pack has been modified so it can only be charged through a pc's usb port
and takes 6hrs to fully charge, ive tried various usb wall plugs (4 plus a usb car charger) and none of them will charge it.
so if you want to charge it on holiday take a laptop or....
take rechargable batteries, yes, but you wont be able to charge them in the flip because its been modified
too so only the official batteries can be charged in it, so you will have to take your own batteries and wall charger as well.
(not as portable as i was expecting)
it doesn't come with any leads so i urge you to buy a usb extention lead as the flip hangs on the side of a computers usb port
and will get knocked one day and possibly snapped off.
if your planning on watching it on your h/d tv you will need a hdmi to mini hdmi lead as it does not come with one.

Excellent, was bit dubious about buying but the missus wanted one. Simply point, press and record till the action stops* or arm gets tired* (delete as applicable). Need to get a better PC now to run the videos and get the HD benefit.
