| Customer Reviews: Horrible July 13, 2010 Diz (England/ South Africa) Not only did it take horrible photographs, but like my last casio camera, it broke after a few months. Never again!

After much searching and reading reviews (as you do) I decided on this camera
(because it was on special offer and was within my budget) to replace one my husband dropped! I was a bit nervous that there were hardly any reviews for it but decided to take the gamble. I have never used a Casio camera before but found this one gives me all I could ask for. Fast response with ordinary photos, flash photos a bit slow but you can't have everything.
Macro (which is what I wanted it for mainly) is good and there are a host of special other things one can do with it that I have not yet investigated. I like the look of this camera, and the size. Would have liked a case for it but got one not too expensive from Ebay!
Never had a camera with it's own battery before and wasn't sure how I would cope. I just have to remember to charge it up regularly, but I will get a spare for holidays - you can't always have access to power just when you need it!
I do have an Olympus SLR for serious photos but find this excellent for carrying in my bag and having to hand just when I need it.
Photo's are very clear in normal light, I have not used it yet for a party or night out so not sure how it will cope with artificial light in darker situations!
It is a bit annoying having to insert a disc into computer to read up how to use but instructions are clear and reasonably simple.
All in all I would recommend this camera to my friends and family.
Very good February 22, 2010 S. C. Ramsbottom (Oxon, UK) 35 out of 57 found this review helpful
My aunt has this model and it is very very compact and good-looking and takes large sharp, well-lit photos with average colour reproduction (a little too light and dull). But considering you can just pop it in the handbag I would say this is the best camera ever. In comparison my Fujifilm finepix (7mpix) is slightly better for colour but only delivers around half the detail! But it is twice the size and has a much larger lense. This Casio Exilim is also very fitting the lady.
