Can't comment on this product as it was bought for a gift for someone else.
Poor battery life April 29, 2010 K. Abraham (Southampton, England.) I bought this camera thinking it offered value for money. One of the key factors that decides this is how good the battery life is. Answer? Very poor indeed. After just one day in London, the battery had reached the end of its life. I'm looking to return this camera. Apparently the batteries are expensive to replace as well.
Quick & easy April 23, 2010 Paul Hawkins (london) I needed a new small camera for my holiday snaps. The cybershot is great value and has proved to be a lovely pocket camera for those, like me that just want to point & shoot. the picture quility is perfect for what I need
sony cyber-shot January 20, 2010 G. Williams A great little camera that does the job. Easy to use and great for the not to experience photographer.
Great Camera January 19, 2010 Mr. J. A. Casingena (Leicester UK) OK So people moan and complain about this using AA Batteries why complain there great better than cameras than come with there own I have a 1 Hour fast battery charger and some rechargable batteries 2800mah which have more power than some cameras with there own batteries and with 12 batteries all charged up in a day.
I can go on a weeks holiday without needing to charge up and 2 batteris will last for ages longer than a cameras with it's own battery so don't think AA's are a bad idea.
And as for the camera it's great exceptional image quality as you would except from a Sony would recomend this one for everyday use.
OK the memory cards which are Memory stick pro duo are bit bit more expensive than SD cards but a 4gb card is arround £20 and will hold arround 900 photos can't see anyone taking that many.
The video is OK not the best quality but ok for say youtube this is not a camcorder so don't expect it to porform like one sony do great camcorders which I have one
And as for the price an excelent price for a camera of this spec and quality a bargin
